FLY TO MALAGA
It is easy to arrange your own, tailor-made holiday trip. Book an apartment, buy airline tickets and rent a car / book a transfer. For the large family with children, the price is unbeatable.

This is a good site to compare flights to. Here you can combine single tickets with different airlines and find the best option.
Tip: If you are looking for travel from e.g. Stockholm, you can choose "all airports" instead of Arlanda, so you also get flights from Bromma, Skavsta and Västerås. Once you have found the best option, it is often cheaper to book on the airline's own page.
CAR RENTAL
There are a few things to keep in mind when renting a car in Spain.
Many Spanish car rental companies have a petrol policy which means that you pay for a full tank (at a high price per liter) when you pick up the car. Then you leave it unthinkable. If you do not get rid of all the petrol, this can be an expensive alternative. If you are renting a car for a longer period of time or driving a longer distance so that you consume all the petrol, this is not a major problem, but be aware of this when you book a car.
Also remember to check what the deductible, a second driver, child seat etc costs because there are often a lot of fees.
Remember to inspect the car carefully and note any damage in the contract so as not to be liable for payment to them afterwards.
We ourselves use a local car rental company Malaga Car, which meets you at the airport and takes you by minibus to their office, which takes two minutes. Once you have landed at Malaga airport, go straight through customs, where your driver is waiting. You get the car with half a tank and return it empty tank.
TAXI
We have a recommended partner who drives a taxi to and from the airport. He knows exactly where all our apartments are located and he makes sure that you arrive safely, regardless of the time of day. It costs 50 € to Torre del Mar and Caleta de Velez, 60 € to Torrox Costa per trip for a normal car that takes 4 people. Feel free to email us and we will pre-book a car for you.
DIRECTIONS
By car from the airport, take the motorway towards Almeria. After approx. 10 km splits the highway. Do not miss it. You turn left, still towards Almeria. After that, it is just over 20 km left to exit no. 272 Velez Malaga if you are going to Torre del Mar. Exit 274 if you are going to Caleta de Velez and 285 Torrox. Then follow the map you receive before you arrive.
Outside all the apartments there are usually plenty of parking spaces and all are free. It can be a little harder to find a parking space during July and August.
